Get Technical Assistance

The Downtown Redevelopment Initiative was designed to help breathe life and love back into the hearts of our communities.

We provide services to assist local downtown property owners make decisions about and kickstart projects to preserve and improve their buildings. These services allow owners to make more informed choices, locate funding options, and to increase the value and utility of their properties. This makes our downtowns more attractive places for businesses, residents, and tourists.

When we can show off and use our beautiful older buildings and city centers, it brings our hearts back into the heart of our communities.

Building Assessments

In order to make improvements to a building’s condition, utility, and marketability we first conduct a site and building assessment. After an initial evaluation we help you identify which issues should be addressed and we can provide access to professional services such as architects, engineers, and contractors at little to no cost.

Financing Assistance

Some properties may need substantial rehabilitation in order to become useable and building upgrades can be a large investment. We can provide financial consulting to advise about potential funding opportunities, including the use of tax credits, and help you navigate the process to access these options. Our Lending arm may also be able to provide direct financing options (link to commercial property loans page) for redevelopment projects.
