Project Development

Transforming ideas from conversation to construction

Saying that we do PROJECT DEVELOPMENT is a fancy way of saying that we specialize in getting things done.

Planning out our communityWhether this means getting groups together for a conversation and planning session, building a new house from the ground up, or purchasing and rehabilitating a crumbling historic structure, Woodlands has a strong record of helping communities get things done.

Since our inception in 1995 Woodlands has been a local and regional leader in developing affordable housing to support local families, seniors, and workforce needs. Though our background is in housing development we understand that in a complex and ever-changing world it is hard to isolate one problem and one solution. Housing alone doesn’t make a community thrive. Through working with communities to understand and address their housing needs we developed programs to address other needs as well.

We are a licensed general contractor and maintain our own construction crew as well as subcontracting to accomplish large and small projects throughout our service area. Woodlands is a product of our communities and we are proud of our intensely local projects and initiatives.

Woodlands is a product of our communities

If your community or group wants to make a plan or has a plan that you want to implement, Woodlands can help provide the additional capacity, experience, or connections to make that happen.

Housing Development

From single family homes to mixed-use apartment buildings we have a long list of successful projects in communities throughout our service area. We’d love to help you meet your town’s housing needs.
